Mr. Corbett is a Director in HamptonRock’s Transaction Advisory and CFO Services practice. He brings 14 years of finance and accounting experience spanning audit, corporate accounting, and advisory across multiple industries and global markets. He supports private companies through private-equity–led transaction life cycles by optimizing accounting and reporting functions, accelerating close and reporting timelines, and establishing clear processes that support operational growth.

Mr. Corbett began his career with Deloitte Ireland, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and advancing to Audit Manager within five years while leading engagements for a diverse portfolio of SME clients. In 2016, he relocated to London as Corporate Accounting Manager at Colt Technology Services, a Fidelity Investments–owned telecommunications company, where he managed monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, oversaw large-scale global audits, prepared executive flash reporting packages, and supported financial planning and budgeting cycles.

In 2019, Mr. Corbett moved to Houston to join Westlake Chemical, a NYSE-listed petrochemical company, contributing to corporate accounting, SEC reporting, and acquisition integration. In 2021, he joined PwC’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) practice as a Senior Manager, advising clients on acquisitions, divestitures, technical accounting, and SEC filings. Mr. Corbett joined HamptonRock in March 2025 to help expand the firm’s Office of the CFO and accounting advisory services.

He graduated summa cum laude from Limerick Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Accounting & Finance, where he received the CIMA Award for Excellence in Financial Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant (Ireland).
