Mr. Hogan is a Director in HamptonRock’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He has more than 13 years of experience in M&A diligence, finance, and accounting, advising clients on acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and other complex transaction accounting initiatives. His industry focus includes business services, industrial products, and critical infrastructure sectors such as oil and gas, power and utilities, renewable energy, petrochemicals, and construction.

Mr. Hogan has advised on over 100 transactions with enterprise values ranging from $25 million to $5 billion across domestic and cross-border markets. His work covers quality of earnings, working capital analyses, identification of debt-like items, and guidance on purchase agreements and closing mechanisms.

Prior to HamptonRock, Mr. Hogan was a Director in PwC’s Deals Advisory practice focused on financial due diligence, serving large-cap and middle-market private equity firms as well as corporate clients. He previously spent five years in PwC’s assurance practice on audits of large SEC filers across energy and software technology.

He graduated with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. and a Master in Professional Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
