Mr. Carroll is a Senior Vice President in HamptonRock’s Transaction Advisory and CFO Services practice, where he focuses on accounting advisory, interim controllership, and Office of the CFO engagements for private equity-backed and privately held companies. He brings nearly a decade of professional services experience spanning Big 4 public accounting, finance transformation, and embedded CFO support. Mr. Carroll’s expertise encompasses ASC 805 purchase accounting, carve-out transactions, working capital optimisation, close acceleration, FP&A build-outs, and ERP implementation, with a particular emphasis on stabilising and scaling finance functions in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.

Prior to joining HamptonRock, Mr. Carroll was a Vice President at Accordion Partners in the Operations and Technical Accounting practice, where he led simultaneous interim finance engagements across PE-backed platforms spanning manufacturing, biopharma, insurance services, and business services sectors. Before Accordion, he served as an Associate Manager at The Siegfried Group, deployed in embedded finance capacities to Fortune 1000 companies across specialty chemicals, consumer retail, and insurance distribution, with a focus on carve-out transactions, ASC 606 implementation, and finance process transformation. Mr. Carroll began his career as an Audit Senior in the Financial Services practice at Deloitte & Touche in Dublin, Ireland, leading audit engagements across Irish GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP frameworks, and completed a secondment to Deloitte Advisory.

Mr. Carroll holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University College Dublin and is a Chartered Accountant and member of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He is based in Dallas, Texas.
